Market Value Advisors (MVA) is a full-service real estate appraisal and valuation consulting firm servicing all of Southern California. Our coverage area includes the counties of Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego, and Ventura. We serve a wide range of clients including financial institutions, governmental agencies, attorneys, accountants, investors, developers, brokers, owners, and tenants. Russell B. Tiv, MAI, AI-GRS
Russell B. Tiv, MAI, AI-GRS is the founder and president of Market Value Advisors, Inc. He is a graduate of UC Berkeley and has over 25 years of commercial appraisal experience. Mr. Tiv previously served as the Southwest Regional Manager of The Property Sciences Group, Inc. before starting MVA in 2011. Mr. Tiv's experience in appraising, reviewing, and supervising thousands of appraisal assignments through the years has gained him in-depth knowledge of a wide range of commercial real estate products. Over the years Mr. Tiv has trained and supervised over 20 commercial appraisers. Mr. Tiv is a CA-licensed certified general appraiser and a designated MAI and AI-GSR member of the Appraisal Institute.
Vice President
Tom Mong
Tom Mong joined MVA in 2012 and is the vice president. In addition to appraisal services, Mr. Mong is in charge of client relations and is dedicated to ensuring that every client is satisfied with our services. He graduated from CSU, Los Angeles with a degree in finance and previously worked at Union Bank before entering the appraisal field. He is a CA-certified general appraiser and has over 18 years of appraisal experience. Mr. Mong is experienced in appraising virtually every type of commercial property throughout California and Nevada.
